Le Morette lies on the narrow belt of land between the south shore of Lake Garda and the small lake of Frassino, an important European Nature Reserve. The vines found in this particular parcel of land are grown in an ideal microclimate and produce grapes of the highest quality.
The name "Le Morette" comes from the wild ducks that live in and around the lake and symbolises the harmony and natural splendour of this wine-producing area. Founded by Gino Zenato over 60 years ago, today Fabio and Paolo, third-generation winemakers, support their father Valerio Zenato, with Fabio adding, "We guide the company and continue the family tradition with the same passions and enthusiasm of our grandfather".
The new winery, opened in October 2013, is the symbol of the family commitment and dedication to embrace tradition and innovation, ensuring eco-sustainability alongside advanced technology.
