Yellow with golden reflections, soft and mellow with a complex bouquet of honey, vanilla and coffee. A voluptuous white (after a short ageing in oak) that can stand up to dishes with body and texture: roast chicken with loads of garlic and caramelised lemons; quail wrapped in prosciutto; pulled pork; and excellent with blue cheese, or savour a lip-smacking glass on its own.
