The Friulano grape, not to be confused with Tocai from Hungary, is native to this region (like Ribolla Gialla). Straw yellow colour with light greenish reflections. Intense and varietal nose with tropical fruits, peach and almond paste notes. Rich flavour, complex and mineral palate. A balsamic note. This wine has more roundness than the Ribolla Gialla; suits seafood, fish, especially smoked, and melt-in-your-mouth prosciutto. Savoury flavours really make the fruit in the wine sing. Yum!
