- Onbria is a very approachable Cabernet Franc from Calalta; it is aromatic and bursting with ripe forest fruits such as redcurrants, raspberries and blackberries.
- On the palate, it is vibrant, showing off those ripe fruits, mixed with a herbaceous and peppery earthiness that is indicative of a lighter, more youthful Cabernet Franc.
- It has a playful, silky texture with soft tannins and perfumed aromas that make it a delight to drink. Fresh and linear, much like Alto Adige’s Schiava or Sicily’s Frappato, it can even benefit from being served slightly chilled although this comes down purely to individual taste.
- Pair this with a creamy tarragon chicken or a goats cheese and caramelised onion tart.
