- This is Cristo di Campobello’s third vintage of the Rosato CDC and the reception has been nothing short of amazing. Having lived in Sicily for the best part of 3 years, I (Dario) can say from experience that there are some scintillating examples of premium rosé wines being produced, from Etna specifically.
- This charming rosé (rosato if you’re in Sicily) is a prime example of a wine that delivers far more than its price tag indicates.
- With its pale pink hue, delicate aromas of rosehip, strawberry, raspberry and plum and its vibrant acidity, it’s the perfect ‘quaffer’ but with the elegance and delicate complexity to be perfect with food.
- Enjoy as an aperitif or for dinner with grilled tiger prawns, baked fish such as bream, salmon, or an array of sushi dishes.
