- This innovative blend of Nero d’Avola, Merlot, Cabernet and Syrah (all in equal measure) makes this wine a wonderfully layered and dynamic drinking experience. Full, fruity aromas emanate from the glass, with soft red and black fruit notes and a hint of balsam arriving late on the nose.
- This is a round and fairly complex wine, packed with flavour, soft tannins and a good level of acidity;no wonder it’s as popular as it is in its homeland of Sicily. It punches well above its weight so is perfect for all occasions or to simply enjoy in the comfort of your own home.
- Pasta with a rich sauce such as carbonara or a bolognese would be a great match as would even the simplest plate of charcuterie. Best cheese: Pecorino or Parmesan.
